JOHNNY HOY AND THE BLUEFISH

Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish is first and foremost a blues and R&B band
with over 200 great songs in its repertoire. We also touch down on
jazz, swing, rock n’ roll, cajun, country and some funky numbers. We
perform some originals and we specialize in digging up cool chestnuts
that never were hits, but should have been. We also do a few songs for
your parents, like those listed below, and some more popular songs that
everyone knows, listed after that. Let’s Party!

well the bride and groom of 09 08 07 are settled back into the "real world" and i am getting around to sending out some "special" thanks to those that made our wedding celebration an absolutley unfogettable event!!!! and as i am sure that you could feel by the energy of ken and me and all of our guests, johnny hoy and the bluefish were an absolute SMASH HIT!!!!!

i cannot begin to tell you how much fun we all had - we are still getting rave reviews and especially from our "islander" guests who said that you all played like they have never heard......EVERYONE danced all night - especially the BRIDE - you should see some of the pictures - I look like a spanish dancer with my dress panels flapping all over the place - so much for the polish polka - who needs that when you have johnny hoy and the bluefish playing.

I don't think I can begin to express how much your band contributed to our wedding night. Everyone is still talking about how amazing you all were. There were several people dancing who have never before been seen on a dance floor! Guests are still talking about how they've never been to a wedding where people were dancing from the very beginning to the end of the reception, virtually non-stop (not to mention demanding an encore from the band - thank you for indulging us)! We needed a bigger dance floor - but that didn't stop people - they were dancing all over the tent! Your music was a major highlight of the night and helped us create the atmosphere we wanted - one in which guests of all ages were caught up in the celebration.

On the more mundane side of things, you were a genuine pleasure to work with during the planning stages. I always got off the phone with you feeling reassured and that you all knew what you were doing and were also open to accommodating what we wanted.

If you ever need a reference, Shannon and I would be more than happy to tell anyone who is wavering that they absolutely cannot make a better choice than to go with 'Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish' for their wedding reception.
